WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 02-037 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE COMMUNITY TRAILS <br />MASTER PLAN <br /> <br />at its meeting of April 16, 2002, the City Council received the report of the <br />Director of Parks and Community Services (SR 02:091 ) regarding the adoption of <br />the Community Trails Master Plan; and <br /> <br />numerous public hearings have been held by the Parks and Recreation <br />Commission regarding the Trails Master Plan; and <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held before the City Council on April 16, 2002, <br />at which public testimony and documentation was reviewed; and <br /> <br />after consideration, the City Council concurs with the recommendations of staff <br />and the Parks and Recreation Commission. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Community Trails Master Plan, a copy of which is attached hereto <br /> and incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br />Section 2: Approves the revised six (6) priority trail segments described in the staffreport. <br />Section 3: Author/zes staff to proceed to open trails immediately, with or without paving. <br /> <br />Section 4: Authorizes staff to continue the Arroyo Mocho Trail on the south side, from <br /> Hopyard Road east to the City limits. <br /> <br />Section 5: Designates a Trails Committee as a permanent subcommittee of the Parks and <br /> Recreation Commission. <br /> <br /> <br />
