CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA ORDINANCE NO. 1383 AN ORDINANCEAPPROVING A MAJOR MODIFICATION TO PUD-85-8 CHANGING THE LAND USE REGULATIONS FROM THE "MID-RISE PLANNING DISTRICT" TO THE "RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT/LIGHTMANUFACTURING PLANNING DISTRICT" FORT HE SOUTHERLY 3.4 ACRE PORTION OF THE 7.8 ACRE SITE 53 LOCATED ON THE WEST SIDE OF WIT~OW ROAD OPPOSITE THE INTERSECTION OF BAKER DRIVE AND WIT~W , ROAD (PUD-85-8-5M) WHEREAS, in March, 1986, Council approved PUD-85-8, Phase II of Hacienda Business Park; and WHEREAS, Callahan Property Company is selling 3.4 acres of land within the Hacienda Business Park for use by the Tri-Valley Herald as its printing and office headquarters; and WHEREAS, because the proposed use is more compatible with the IPD zoning of adjacent properties, Callahan Property Company has applied for a major modification to change the land use regulations; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has recommended approval of the major modification; THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the application of Callahan Property Company for a major modification to PUD-85-8 allowing a change in the land use designation of a 3.4 acre portion of Site 53 from OMPD (Mid-Rise Office Planning District) to IPD (Research and Development/Light Manufacturing Planning District) (PUD-85-8-5M) . ~ectlon 2 This ordinance shall be published once within fifteen (15) days after its adoption in "The Valley Times," a newspaper of general. circulation published in the City of Pleasanton. Section 3: This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days after the date of its final passage and adoption.
