CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1383 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCEAPPROVING A MAJOR MODIFICATION TO <br /> PUD-85-8 CHANGING THE LAND USE REGULATIONS FROM THE <br /> "MID-RISE PLANNING DISTRICT" TO THE "RESEARCH AND <br /> DEVELOPMENT/LIGHTMANUFACTURING PLANNING DISTRICT" <br /> FORT HE SOUTHERLY 3.4 ACRE PORTION OF THE 7.8 ACRE <br /> SITE 53 LOCATED ON THE WEST SIDE OF WIT~OW ROAD <br /> OPPOSITE THE INTERSECTION OF BAKER DRIVE AND WIT~W , <br /> ROAD (PUD-85-8-5M) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in March, 1986, Council approved PUD-85-8, Phase II <br /> of Hacienda Business Park; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Callahan Property Company is selling 3.4 acres of <br /> land within the Hacienda Business Park for use by <br /> the Tri-Valley Herald as its printing and office <br /> headquarters; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, because the proposed use is more compatible with <br /> the IPD zoning of adjacent properties, Callahan <br /> Property Company has applied for a major <br /> modification to change the land use regulations; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has recommended approval of <br /> the major modification; <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the application of Callahan Property <br /> Company for a major modification to PUD-85-8 <br /> allowing a change in the land use designation of a <br /> 3.4 acre portion of Site 53 from OMPD (Mid-Rise <br /> Office Planning District) to IPD (Research and <br /> Development/Light Manufacturing Planning District) <br /> (PUD-85-8-5M) . <br /> <br />~ectlon 2 This ordinance shall be published once within <br /> fifteen (15) days after its adoption in "The Valley <br /> Times," a newspaper of general. circulation <br /> published in the City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />Section 3: This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) <br /> days after the date of its final passage and <br /> adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
