CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1375 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 11.20 OF <br /> THE PT~ASANTON MUNICIPAL CODE REGARDING <br /> SPEED LIMITS ON VARIOUS STREETS <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Chapter 11.20 (Speed Limits), Section 11.20.010 <br /> (Increasing state speed limit in certain zones) is <br /> amended to add the following subsections: <br /> <br /> F. Johnson Drive <br /> <br /> 1. On Johnson Drive from 800 feet north of <br /> Owens Drive west to Main Hilton Driveway the <br /> speed limit shall be forty-five miles per <br /> hour. <br /> <br /> G. Bernal Avenue. On Bernal Avenue from First <br /> Street to Windmill Way the speed limit shall be <br /> thirty-five miles per hour. <br /> <br />Section 2: Chapter 11.20 (Speed Limits), Section 11.20,020 <br /> (Decrease in state law maximum speed) is amended to add <br /> the following subsections: <br /> <br /> F. Johnson Drive <br /> <br /> 1. On Johnson Drive from Stoneridge Drive to <br /> Commerce Drive the speed limit shall be thirty <br /> miles per hour. <br /> <br /> 2. On Johnson Drive from Owens Drive to 800 <br /> feet north of Owens Drive the speed limit <br /> shall be thirty miles per hour. <br /> <br /> 3. On Johnson Drive from Main Hilton Drive to <br /> Commerce Drive the speed limit shall be thirty <br /> miles per hour. <br /> <br /> H. Peters Avenue. On Peters Avenue from Old <br /> Bernal Avenue to St. John Street the speed limit <br /> shall be twenty-five miles per hour. <br /> <br /> <br />
