CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 02-020 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING GRANT DEEDS AND <br />ACCEPTING UTILITY EASEMENTS WITHIN SANTOS <br />RANCH ROAD <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Tolari family (9550 Samos Ranch Road) desire to underground several existing <br /> overhead utility lines along a portion of Santos Ranch Road; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />because Santos Ranch Road is a City-owned private road, the Tolaris need <br />easements from the City to allow public and private utilities to be placed within the <br />road; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, to accommodate City utilities, easements will be granted by the adjacent private <br /> property owners (Tolari and Sandu) in favor of the City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of February 19, 2002, the City Council received the report of the <br />City Attorney (SR 02:044) regarding grant of easements within Santos Ranch <br />Road to PG&E, Pacific Bell and the Tolari family, and accepting easements from <br />the Tolari and Sandu families; and <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />The Grant of Easement from Geno P. Tolari and Elaine D.Tolari, husband and <br />wife to the City of Pleasanton is hereby accepted and the appropriate City officers <br />are instructed to take whatever action necessary to implement said acceptance. <br /> <br />Section 2: <br /> <br />The Grant of Easement from The Sandhu Family Trust Dated April 12, 1997 - Ajit <br />Paul Sandhu and Surinder Sandu, Trustors and/or Trustees is hereby accepted and <br />the appropriate City officers are instructed to take whatever action necessary to <br />implement said acceptance. <br /> <br />Section 3: <br /> <br />The City Manager is authorized to execute a Grant of Easement to Pacific Gas and <br />Electric Company, a California corporation, for public utility purposes. <br /> <br /> <br />
