instruments or any other type of electronic or <br /> mechanical device used to increase the wattage <br /> and volume of electronically or otherwise <br /> produced sound, without the written permission <br /> of the director. <br /> <br /> B. No person in a park and recreation facility, <br /> by use of a radio, tape, record or other <br /> electronic or mechanical device shall produce <br /> or allow to be produced a noise level which <br /> disturbs a reasonable person's peace and <br /> quiet; in no event shall the noise level <br /> exceed the limits of Section 9.04.060 of this <br /> code. <br /> <br /> 13.08.190 Smoking. <br /> <br /> No person shall smoke in any enclosed building <br /> in a park and recreation facility except as <br /> provided in Chapter 9.24 of the Pleasanton <br /> Municipal Code. <br /> <br /> 13.08,200 Bicycles. <br /> <br /> A. No person shall ride or operate a bicycle or <br /> mountain bike in any park and recreation <br /> facility in a negligent, unsafe or reckless <br /> manner or in any way that endangers the life, <br /> limb or property of any person. <br /> <br /> B. If a pathway or roadway is designated for <br /> bicycle use, a person shall use such pathway <br /> or roadway for such use. <br /> <br /> 13.08,210 Additional rules. <br /> <br /> The director is authorized to promulgate from <br /> time to time such other and further rules and <br /> regulations as may be necessary for the purpose of <br /> regulating the use of any park and recreation <br /> facility. Upon adoption thereof by the city <br /> council by resolution, such rules and regulations <br /> shall have the same force and effect as the <br /> provisions of this chapter." <br /> <br />Section 5: This ordinance shall be published once within <br /> fifteen (15) days after its adoption in "The Valley <br /> Times," a newspaper of general circulation <br /> published in the City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> -7- <br /> <br /> <br />
