PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-2001-49 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF JERRY AND LAURA <br />RANEY, AS FILED UNDER CASE PDR-158 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Jerry and Laura Raney have applied for design review approval to <br />construct a 1,536-square-foot, two-story addition to an existing office <br />commercial building located at 344 Division Street; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is C-C (Central Commercial) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its duly noticed public hearing of November 14, 2001, the Planning <br />Commission considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and <br />recommendations of the City staff concerning this application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, projects of this nature are categorically exempt from the requirements of <br /> the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Planning Commission determined that the proposed building addition <br />meets all applicable requirements of the Pleasanton Municipal Code, <br />Downtown Specific Plan, and Downtown Design Guidelines; and that the <br />building and site design, as conditioned, is appropriate for the surrounding <br />area. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Approves Case PDR-158, the application of Jerry and Laura Raney, <br />subject to the conditions shown in Exhibit "B," attached hereto and made <br />part of this case by reference. <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> <br />This resolution shall become effective 15 days after its passage and <br />adoption unless appealed prior to that time. <br /> <br /> <br />
