PLANN1NG COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-2001-44 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF SPR1NT PCS AND <br />NEXTEL COMMUNICATIONS, AS FILED UNDER CASE PDR-84 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Sprint PCS and Nextel Communications have applied for design review <br />approval to allow the construction of an approximately 44-foot tall tree <br />pole, 15 panel antennas, 3 GPS antennas, and related equipment at 7315 <br />Johnson Drive; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD - G & LI (Planned Unit Development - <br /> General and Limited Industrial) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its duly noticed public hearing of September 12, 2001, the Planning <br />Commission considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and <br />recommendations of the City staff concerning this application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, projects of this nature are categorically exempt from the requirements of <br /> the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Planning Commission requested that before and after visuals be <br />provided to the Planning Commission to guarantee that the tree pole has <br />been constructed as proposed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Planning Commission determined that the proposed wireless facility <br />adheres to the requirements of the City's Personal Wireless Service <br />Facility ordinance. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNiNG COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWiNG: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Approves Case PDR-84, the application of Sprint PCS and Nextel <br />Communications for design review approval to allow the construction of <br />an approximately 44-foot tall tree pole, 15 panel antennas, 3 GPS <br />antennas, and related equipment at 7315 Johnson Drive, subject to the <br />conditions shown in Exhibit "B," attached hereto and made part of this <br />case by reference. <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> <br />This resolution shall become effective 15 days after its passage and <br />adoption unless appealed prior to that time. <br /> <br /> <br />
