PLANNiNG COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-2001-34 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DENYING CASE PAP-19, THEREBY UPHOLDING THE <br />ZONING ADMINISTRATOR'S APPROVAL OF AN APPLICATION FOR <br />SIGN DESIGN REVIEW, AS FILED UNDER CASE PSDR-76 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Zoning Administrator approved the application of Mardel LLC for two <br />subdivision monument signs which state "Lemoine Ranch Estates" to be <br />located at 4456 Foothill Road; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />within the time specified by the Pleasanton Municipal Code, Lynn Ann <br />Sorensen (the adjacent neighbor) filed an appeal of the Zoning <br />Administrator's decision; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) - RDR/LDR <br /> (Rural Density Residential/Low Density Residential) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its duly noticed public hearing of June 27, 2001, the Planning <br />Commission considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and <br />recommendations of the City staff concerning this application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, projects of this nature are categorically exempt from the requirements of <br /> the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposed signs are attractive <br /> and appropriately located. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANN1NG COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Denies Case PAP-17, thereby upholding the approval of the Zoning <br />Administrator of the application of Mardel LLC for two subdivision <br />monument signs which state "Lemoine Ranch Estates" to be located at <br />4456 Foothill Road, subject to the conditions shown in Exhibit "B," <br />attached hereto and made a part of this case by reference. <br /> <br />Section 2. Recommends that the name of the development be shortened. <br /> <br />Se~ion 3. <br /> <br />This resolution shall become effective 15 days after its passage and <br />adoption unless appealed prior to that time. <br /> <br /> <br />
