PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-2001-28 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE REDUCTION OF KWH CAPACITY OF THE <br />PHOTOVOLTAIC CELLS FOR THE PANATTONI DEVELOMENT COMPANY <br />BUILDINGS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Panattoni Development Company has applied to reduce the Kwh capacity of the <br />photovoltaic cells to be installed on its three recently-constructed, 30,000-square- <br />foot warehouse buildings located on the east side of Boulder Court; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is I-G (General Industrial) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its duly noticed public heating of May 23, 2001, the Planning Commission <br />considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning this application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, projects of this nature are categorically exempt from the requirements of the <br /> California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposal to reduce the Kwh <br /> capacity of the photovoltaic cells is acceptable. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section I. <br /> <br />Approves the application of the Panattoni Development Company to reduce the <br />Kwh capacity of the photovoltaic cells to be installed on its three recently- <br />constructed, 30,000-square-foot warehouse buildings located on the east side of <br />Boulder Court, subject to the following conditions of approvaI! <br /> <br />1. The close of escrow on the three buildings and the tenant improvements shall <br /> be allowed prior to the installation of the photovoltaic panel systems. <br />2. The applicant shall be required to provide a letter of credit in the amount of <br /> $150,000 to insure the installation of the photovoltaic panel systems. <br /> <br /> <br />
