PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-2001-26 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF MCDONALD'S <br />CORPORATION FOR PUD DESIGN REVIEW, AS FILED UNDER CASE <br />PDR-118 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />McDonald's Corporation has applied for PUD design review approval to <br />construct a new, approximately 5,134-square-foot, fast-food restaurant with <br />drive-through and indoor playplace, and for a 5,220-square-foot <br />commercial building pad at 3001 Bemal Avenue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) - C <br /> (Commemial) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its duly noticed public hearing of May 23, 2001, the Planning <br />Commission considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and <br />recommendations of the City staff concerning this application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission approved the Negative Declaration prepared for <br /> this project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Planning Commission determined that the proposed drive-through <br />restaurant and future service commercial building would be appropriate <br />uses for the site and that the proposed project would have no significant <br />adverse effects on the area. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Approves Case PDR-118, the application of McDonald's Corporation for <br />PUD design review approval to construct a new, approximately 5,134- <br />square-foot, fast-food restaurant with drive-through and indoor playplace, <br />and for a 5,220-square-foot commercial building pad at 3001 Bemal <br />Avenue, subject to the conditions shown in Exhibit "B," attached hereto <br />and made part of this case by reference. <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> <br />This resolution shall become effective 15 days after its passage and <br />adoption unless appealed prior to that time. <br /> <br /> <br />
