PLANNiNG COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-2001-18 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DENYING CASE PAP-16, THEREBY UPHOLDING THE <br />ZONING ADMINISTRATOR'S APPROVAL OF AN APPLICATION FOR <br />ADMINISTRATIVE DESIGN REVIEW, AS FILED UNDER CASE PADR-262 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Zoning Administrator approved the application of Gary and Cynthia <br />Gleave for administrative design review for window modifications and the <br />conversion of 11 O-square feet of clerestory space to a second floor <br />bedroom/office addition in an existing single-family residence located at <br />6450 Paseo Santa Maria; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />within the time specified by the Pleasanton Municipal Code, Dan and <br />Rosemarie Hitchens (the adjacent neighbors) filed an appeal of the Zoning <br />Administrator's decision; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) - MDR <br /> (Medium Density Residential) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its duly noticed public hearing of April 11, 2001, the Planning <br />Commission considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and <br />recommendations of the City staff concerning this application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, projects of this nature are categorically exempt from the requirements of <br /> the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Planning Commission determined that the proposed 48" x 60" window <br />is appropriately placed in the location approved by the Zoning <br />Administrator; that the requirement for the new window to be a clear glu- <br />chip feather glass shall be deleted; and that the applicant shall provide an <br />evergreen tree to be planted in the appellants' yard to provide view <br />screening. <br /> <br /> <br />
