CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA ORDINANCE NO. 1421 ORDINANCE APPROVING CASE PUD-89-6, THE APPLICATION OF SPIEKER PARTNERS FOR PUD DEVELOPMENT AND REZONING WHEREAS, Spieker Partners has applied for Planned Unit Development rezoning and development plan approval for a multi-building, approximately 118,500 sq. ft. mixed use retail/commercial complex to be.located on an approximately 13.3-acre site located at the northwest corner of the intersection of Rosewood Drive and Santa Rita Road; and WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study, a negative declaration was adopted by Council on June 6, 1989; and WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's recommendations for approval of the proposed Planned Unit Development rezoning and development plan; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed Planned Unit Development rezoning and development plan are consistent with the General Plan and the purposes of the PUD Ordinance. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Approves the rezoning of an approximately 13.3 acre site located at the northwest corner of the intersection of Rosewood Drive and Santa Rita Road to the PUD (Planned Unit Development) - Commercial District. Section 2. The Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton dated April 18, 1960, on file with the City Clerk, designating and dividing the City into zoning districts is hereby amended by Zoning Unit Map 374, attached hereto as Exhibit "A" dated June 6, 1989, and incorporated herein by reference. Section 3. Approves the development plan for a multi-building, approximately 118,500 sq. ft. mixed use retail/commercial complex to be located on an approximately 13.3 acre site located at the northwest corner of the intersection of Rosewood Drive and Santa Rita Road subject to the conditions shown on Exhibit "B" attached hereto and made part of this case by reference.
