CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1417 <br /> <br /> APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF GOLDEN EAGT2 <br /> FARMS AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-85-15-1M <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Golden Eagle Farms' has applied for a major <br /> modification to an approved development plan for a <br /> 210 unit residential project to allow for a special <br /> events/conference center to be established at the <br /> facility approved for a clubhouse (Bernal Adobe) to <br /> be located at 1780 Foothill Road; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit <br /> Development) - Low Density Residential District; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study, a <br /> negative declaration was adopted by Council on <br /> May 2, 1989; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's <br /> recommendation for approval of the <br /> modification; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on <br /> May 2, 1989; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds the proposed use is <br /> consistent with the General Plan and complementary <br /> to the overall Golden Eagle Farms PUD; <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves Case PUD-85-15-1M, the application of <br /> Golden Eagle Farms for a major modification to an <br /> approved development plan for a 210 unit <br /> residential project to allow for a special <br /> events/conference center to be established at the <br /> facility approved for a clubhouse (Bernal Adobe) to <br /> be located at 1780 Foothill Road subject to the <br /> conditions shown on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and <br /> made part of this case by reference. <br /> <br />Section 2: The City staff is directed to cause a Notice of <br /> Determination to be filed pursuant to Section <br /> 5.4(g) of Resolution No. 77-66. <br /> <br /> <br />
