31.The applicant's contractor(s) shall obtain an encroachment permit from the <br />City Engineer prior to moving any construction equipment onto the site <br /> <br />32. The applicant shall comply with the City's non-point storm drain ordinance. <br /> <br />33. The applicant shall submit a construction Best Management Practice <br /> (BMP) program for review and approval by the Planning Director prior to <br /> issuance of any building and/or grading permits. These BMP's shall be <br /> implemented by the general contractor and all subcontractors and suppliers <br /> of materials and equipment. Construction site cleanup and control of <br /> construction debris shall also be addressed in this program. Failure to <br /> comply with the approved construction BMP may result in the issuance of <br /> correction notices, citations, or a project stop work order. <br /> <br />34. The applicant is responsible for implementing the following measures <br /> during all construction phases of the subject project: <br /> <br />a.) Gather all construction debris on a regular basis and place them in a <br />dumpster or other container which is emptied or removed on a weekly <br />basis. When appropriate, use larps on the ground to collect fallen debris or <br />splatters that could contribute to storm water pollution. <br /> <br />b.) Remove all dirt, gravel, rubbish, refuse, and green waste from the street <br />pavement, and storm drains adjoining the project site. During wet weather <br />avoid driving vehicles offpaved areas. <br /> <br />c.) Broom sweep the public street pavement adjoining the project site on a <br />daily basis. Caked-on mud or dirt shall be scraped from these areas before <br />sweeping. <br /> <br />d.) lnstall filter materials (such as sandbags, filter fabric, etc.) at the storm <br />drain inlet nearest the downstream side of the project site in order to retain <br />any debris or dirt flowing into the City storm drain system. Filter malerials <br />shall be maintained and/or replaced as necessary to ensure effectiveness <br />and to prevent street flooding. Dispose of filter particles in the trash. <br /> <br />e.) Create a contained and covered area on the site for the storage of bags, <br />cement, paints, flammable, oils, fertilizers, pesticides, or any other <br />materials used on the project site that have the potential for being <br />discharged to the storm drain system through being windblown or in the <br />event o£a material spill. <br /> <br /> <br />
