The developer shall contact Pleasanton Garbage Service <br />for all waste disposal. Only that portion of trash and recycling waste <br />refused by Pleasanton Garbage Service shall be disposed of or diverted by <br />another trash/recycling company.. <br /> <br />Upon selection of a muralist by the developer, the developer shall work <br />with representatives of the Civic Arts Commission to review the specific <br />designs for the two murals to be applied to wall of Building "F" facing <br />Valley Avenue. The mural artwork shall follow a railroad-oriented theme, <br />e.g., fi.eight/passenger train in silhouette, pictorial scene, etc., and the final <br />design shall be submitted for the final review and approval by the Planning <br />Director. The murals shall be installed Mthin one year of occupancy. <br /> <br />The developer shall install photovoltaic panels on the roof of the manager's <br />apartment/office designed to meet the energy needs of the building. With <br />the building permit application, the developer shall submit to the Planning <br />Director for review and approval an estimate of the manager's apartment/ <br />office energy needs and the design and location of the photovoltaic panels. <br /> <br />The developer shall use their best efforts to implement the measures <br />identified in the U~S. Green Building Council's (GBC), "Leadership in <br />Energy and Environmental Design (LEED)" 2.0 rating system in the design, <br />construction, and operation of the proposed building, including all future <br />tenanl improvements, to meet the "Certified" rating. These measures shall <br />be shown on the building permit plan set submitted for review and approval <br />before issuance of a building permit. In conjunction with the building <br />permit application, the developer shall determine the building's "LEED <br />Green Building Rating", using the GBC evaluating methodology, and shall <br />report the rating to the Planning Director before issuance of the building <br />permit, which shall be reported to the Planning Commission. Prior to <br />building permit issuance, the green building provisions that are proposed to <br />be included in the development shall be submitted to the Planning Director <br />for review and comment. City staff shall arrange a meeting with the <br />developer to discuss the proposed measures and to determine if other <br />feasible, mutually agreeable green building measures can be incorporated <br />into the project. <br /> <br />At no time shall balloons, banners, pennants, or other attention-getting <br />devices be utilized on the site except as permitted by the City's Municipal <br />Code. <br /> <br /> <br />
