CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1848 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF BAY <br />AREA SELF-STORAGE FOR REZONING AND <br />DEVELOPMENT PLAN APPROVAL, AS FILED UNDER <br />CASE PUD-15 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Bay Area Self-Storage/Cubix has applied for PUD rezoning and development plan <br />approval to allow the construction of a 139,928 square foot self-storage facility <br />located at 3101 Valley Avenue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) - I/S <br /> (Industrial/Study) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study, a negative declaration was adopted by <br /> the City Council on January 15, 2002; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's recommendations for approval of the <br /> PUD rezoning and development plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public heating was held on January 15, 2002; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council determined that the proposed PUD rezoning and development <br /> plan are consistent with the General Plan. <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDA1N AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />Approves the rezoning of an approximately 2.69-acre portion of land to PUD-I <br />(Planned Unit Development - Industrial) and the development plan to allow the <br />construction of a 139,928 square foot self-storage facility located at 3101 Valley <br />Avenue. <br /> <br />Section 2: <br /> <br />The Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton dated April 18, 1960, on file with the <br />City Clerk, designating and dividing the City into zoning districts is hereby <br />amended by Zoning Unit Map g455, attached hereto as Exhibit "A", dated <br />January 15, 2002, and incorporated herein by reference. <br /> <br />Section 3: <br /> <br />The City staffis directed to cause a Notice of Determination to be filed pursuant to <br />Section 4.3(g) of Resolution No. 77-66. <br /> <br /> <br />
