CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA ORDINANCE NO. 1848 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF BAY AREA SELF-STORAGE FOR REZONING AND DEVELOPMENT PLAN APPROVAL, AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-15 WHEREAS, Bay Area Self-Storage/Cubix has applied for PUD rezoning and development plan approval to allow the construction of a 139,928 square foot self-storage facility located at 3101 Valley Avenue; and WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) - I/S (Industrial/Study) District; and WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study, a negative declaration was adopted by the City Council on January 15, 2002; and WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's recommendations for approval of the PUD rezoning and development plan; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public heating was held on January 15, 2002; and WHEREAS, the City Council determined that the proposed PUD rezoning and development plan are consistent with the General Plan. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDA1N AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the rezoning of an approximately 2.69-acre portion of land to PUD-I (Planned Unit Development - Industrial) and the development plan to allow the construction of a 139,928 square foot self-storage facility located at 3101 Valley Avenue. Section 2: The Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton dated April 18, 1960, on file with the City Clerk, designating and dividing the City into zoning districts is hereby amended by Zoning Unit Map g455, attached hereto as Exhibit "A", dated January 15, 2002, and incorporated herein by reference. Section 3: The City staffis directed to cause a Notice of Determination to be filed pursuant to Section 4.3(g) of Resolution No. 77-66.
