THREE-YEAR GOAL: Improve and develop collections to meet <br />community needs <br /> <br />The library maintains a basic collection of materials on a wide variety of <br />subjects as well as specific materials purchased in response to unique local <br />needs and interests. <br /> <br />ONE-YEAR OBJECTIVES: <br /> <br />By February 1, 2002, the Head of Technical Services (lead), <br />Reference Division Head and Head of Children's Services will <br />establish DVD collections. <br /> <br />By February 28, 2002, the Head of Children's Services (lead), <br />Circulation Division Head and Head of Technical Services, working <br />with the school district Media Service Coordinator Judy Matthew, will <br />expand the high school textbook collection and move it to the Young <br />Adult Area. <br /> <br />By June 1, 2002, the Head of Technical Services (lead), Reference <br />Division Head and Head of Children's Services will establish Books <br />on CD collections. <br /> <br />4. By June 30, 2002, the Reference Division Head will evaluate, weed <br /> and purchase new materials for the business reference collection. <br /> <br />By September 30, 2002, the Young Adult/Adult Services Division <br />Head (lead), Reference Division Head and Booklegger Coordinator, <br />working with the Teen Advisory Group, will develop and implement a <br />plan to improve the young adult collections. <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />By December 1, 2002, the Head of Children's Services (lead), Head <br />of Technical Services, Director of Library Services and Reference <br />Division Head will develop a plan to expand international language <br />materials. <br /> <br />10 <br /> <br /> <br />
