CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 02-008 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION <br />FOR THE APPLICATION OF BAY AREA <br />SELF-STORAGE/CUBIX CONSTRUCTION, AS FILED <br />UNDER CASE PUD-15 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Bay Area Self-Storage/Cubix has applied for PUD rezoning and development plan <br />approval to allow the construction of a 139,928 square foot self-storage facility <br />located at 3101 Valley Avenue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) I/S <br /> (Industrial/Study) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public heating was held at which time the public was given the <br /> opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the <br />applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed project would not have any significant <br /> adverse effects on the environment. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />Approves the Negative Declaration for the application of Bay Area <br />Self-Storage/Cubix for PUD rezoning and development plan approval to allow the <br />construction of a 139,928 square foot self-storage facility located at 3101 Valley <br />Avenue. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
