RESOLUTION NO. <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, <br />ADOPTING THE 2009 10/2010 -11 OPERATING BUDGET AND THE 2009 -10 <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM <br />WHEREAS, biannually the City Council adopts a two -year operating budget; and <br />WHEREAS, a public workshop to review the budget was held in June 2009; and <br />WHEREAS, at a public hearing on June 16, 2009, staff presented a report regarding the <br />recommended Operating Budget for 2009 10/2010 -11 and Community Development Block <br />Grant Program for 2009 -10 <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1: Council adopts the 2009 10/2010 -11 Operating Budget provided in Attachrnent A. <br />Section 2: Council adopts the 2009 -010 Community Development Block Grant program as <br />outlined in Attachment B. <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br />Section 4: City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this resolution and enter it into the book of <br />original resolutions. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at <br />a regular meeting held on June 16, 2009. <br />I, Karen Diaz City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton, California, certify that the foregoing <br />resolution was adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting held on the by the following <br />vote: <br />Ayes: <br />Noes: <br />Absent: <br />Abstain: <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br />Michael H.
