THE C ITY OF <br />I ®f IY III III 11 <br />pL €ASANTON® <br />CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br />June 16, 2009 <br />City Manager <br />TITLE: ADOPTING THE 2009 10/2010 -11 OPERATING BUDGET AND THE <br />2009 -10 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM <br />SUMMARY <br />Staff is recommending the adoption of the 2009 10/2010 -11 Operating Budget as was <br />previously presented at a workshop on June 9, 2009. Adoption of the Capital <br />Improvement Program budget will be recommended in a separate agenda report. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends that Council adopt the attached Resolution to: <br />1. Adopt the 2009 10/2010 -11 Operating Budget as outlined in Attachment A. <br />2. Adopt the 2009 -10 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program as <br />outlined in Attachment B. This action incorporates CDBG allocations previously <br />approved by the City Council <br />FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br />The financial impact of this action is outlined in the "Summary" section of the budget <br />document. <br />15a <br />
