PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2378 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />FOR THE BANK OF PLEASANTON AND PETERS STREET ASSOCIATES <br />AS FILED UNDER CASE UP -83 -40 <br />WHEREAS, the Bank of Pleasanton and Peters STreet Associates have <br />applied for approval of a conditional use permit to operate <br />an approximately 5250 sq. ft. bank facility at 555 Peters <br />Avenue; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is C -C (Central Commercial) District; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of October 26, 1983 <br />the Planning Commission recommended approval of the negative <br />declaration prepared for case UP -83 -40 after considering <br />all public testimony, relevant documents and recommendations <br />of the City Staff; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission found that a) the proposed location <br />of the conditional use is in accord with the objectives <br />of the zoning ordinance and the purposes of the district <br />in which the site is located; b) that the proposed location <br />of the conditional use and the conditions under which it <br />would be operated or maintained will not be detrimental <br />to the public health, safety or welfare or be materially <br />injurious to properties or improvements in the vicinity; <br />and c) that the proposed conditional use will comply with <br />each of the applicable provisions of the zoning ordinance. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Approves case UP- 83 -40, the application for a conditiional <br />use permit to allow the establishment and operation of a <br />bank in the building located at 555 Peters Avenue subject <br />to the three conditions shown on Exhibit "A" attached <br />hereto and made part of this case by reference. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective 15 days from its <br />passage and adoption or the day after notification of City <br />Council unless appealed. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING COMMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ON THE 26TH DAY OF OCTOBER 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br />AYES: Commissioners Doherty, Getty, Arrigoni, Wilson and Chairman <br />Jamieson <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: Commissioner Lindsey (stepped down) <br />DATE: October 26, 1983 <br />
