PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2377 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR THE BANK <br />OF PLEASANTON AND PETERS STREET ASSOCIATES AS FILED UNDER <br />CASE UP -83 -40 <br />WHEREAS, the Bank of Pleasanton and Peters Street Associates have <br />applied for approval of a conditional use permit to operate <br />an approximately 6,000 sq. ft. bank facility at 555 Peters <br />Avenue; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is C -C (Central Commercial) District; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of October 26, 1983 <br />the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, <br />relevant exhibits and recommendations of the City Staff <br />concerning the proposed conditional use permit including <br />the environmental impacts of the proposal; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts <br />in accordance with state and local guidelines governing <br />the preparation of negative declarations and environmental <br />impact reports; and <br />WHEREAS, the Initial Study prepared by the Staff indicated that there <br />would not be a significant adverse impact on the environment <br />should this conditional use permit be approved. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Finds that based on the review of the Initial Study, <br />public testimony, and documentary evidence presented at <br />the public hearing, there would not be any significant adverse <br />effects upon the environment as a result of approval of <br />case UP -83 -40 as herein described. <br />Section 2. Approves the Negative Declaration prepared for case <br />UP- 83 -40. <br />Section 3. This resolution shall become effective 15 days after <br />its passage and adoption or the day following notification <br />of the City Council unless appealed. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ON THE 26TH DAY OF OCTOBER 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br />AYES: Commissioners Doherty, Getty, Arrigoni, Wilson and Chairman <br />Jamieson <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: Commissioner Lindsey (stepped down) <br />
