Z PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION N0. 2374 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE NEGATIVE DECLARATION PREPARED FOR CASE GP -83 -11 WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied to amend the general plan land use designation on approximately 9 acres located at the northeast corner of Tawny Drive and Bernal Avenue (formerly Pico /Vineyard Avenue) from "Medium Density Residential" to "High Density Residential and Open Space (Parks and Recreation);" and WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of October 26, 1983 the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits and recommendations of the City Staff concerning the proposed general plan amendment including the environmental impacts of the proposal; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with state and local guidelines governing the preparation of negative declarations and environmental impact reports; and WHEREAS, the Initial Study prepared by the Staff indicated that there would not be a significant impact on the environment should this general plan amendment be approved. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section 1. Finds that based on the review of the Initial Study, public testimony, and documentary evidence presented at the public hearing, there would not be any significant adverse effects upon the environment as a result of approval of case GP- 83 -11. Section 2. Recommends approval of the Negative Declaration prepared for case GP- 83 -11. Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ON THE 26TH DAY OF OCTOBER 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: AYES: Commissioners Doherty, Getty, Lindsey, Wilson and Chairman Jamieson NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None
