Z <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 2374 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE NEGATIVE <br />DECLARATION PREPARED FOR CASE GP -83 -11 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied to amend the general <br />plan land use designation on approximately 9 acres located <br />at the northeast corner of Tawny Drive and Bernal Avenue <br />(formerly Pico /Vineyard Avenue) from "Medium Density Residential" <br />to "High Density Residential and Open Space (Parks and Recreation);" <br />and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of October 26, 1983 <br />the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, <br />relevant exhibits and recommendations of the City Staff <br />concerning the proposed general plan amendment including <br />the environmental impacts of the proposal; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts <br />in accordance with state and local guidelines governing <br />the preparation of negative declarations and environmental <br />impact reports; and <br />WHEREAS, the Initial Study prepared by the Staff indicated that there <br />would not be a significant impact on the environment should <br />this general plan amendment be approved. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Finds that based on the review of the Initial Study, <br />public testimony, and documentary evidence presented at <br />the public hearing, there would not be any significant adverse <br />effects upon the environment as a result of approval of <br />case GP- 83 -11. <br />Section 2. Recommends approval of the Negative Declaration prepared <br />for case GP- 83 -11. <br />Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ON THE 26TH DAY OF OCTOBER 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br />AYES: Commissioners Doherty, Getty, Lindsey, Wilson and Chairman <br />Jamieson <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />
