PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 2372 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION PREPARED FOR FERRERI AND MIRANDA UNDER CASE GP -83 -13 WHEREAS, John Ferreri and Fred Miranda have applied to change the general plan land use designation on approximately 6 acres located at the southeast corner of Santa Rita Road and West Las Positas Blvd. from "High Density Residential" to "Commercial and Offices;" and WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of October 26, 1983 the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits and recommendations of the City Staff concerning the proposed general plan amendment including the environmental impacts of the proposal; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewd the potential impacts in accordance with state and local guidelines governing the preparation of negative declarations and environmental impact reports; and WHEREAS, the Initial Study prepared by the Staff indicated that there may be a significant impact on the environment should this application be approved. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section 1. Finds that based on the review of the Initial Study, public testimony, and documentary evidence presented at the public hearing, there would not be any significant adverse effects upon the environment as a result of approval of case GP -83 -13 because conditions imposed upon the proposal itself would reduce any potentially significant environmental effects to an insignificant level. Section 2. Recommends approval of the Mitigated Negative Declaration for case GP -83 -13 as herein described. Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ON THE 26TH DAY OF OCTOBER 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: AYES: Commissioners Doherty, Getty, Lindsey, Wilson and Chairman Jamieson NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None
