PLANNING COMMISSION
CITY OF PLEASANTON
COUNTY OF ALAMEDA
STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION NO. 2369
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A
MODIFICATION TO CASE PUD- 81- 22 -1M, APPLICATION
OF THE CITY COUNCIL
WHEREAS, The City of Pleasanton has applied to amend the provisions
of Ordinance 1014 relating to traffic levels of service
(LOS) and off -site traffic improvements for case PUD -81 -22
(Stoneridge Busienss Center); and
WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of October 12, 1983
the Planning Commission considered all public testimony,
relevant documents and recommendations of the City staff;
and
WHEREAS, a modification of this type is considered to be categorically
exempt under CEQA. For this reason, no environmental
document accompanies this case; and
WHEREAS, Condition No. 56 of Ordinance 1014, approving the planned
unit development for the former Daon Project, a mixed
commercial /office high density residential development
proposed for the 91 acre site located on the north side
of Stoneridge Drive between Stoneridge Mall Road and
I -680, limits development on the subject property if
certain intersections impacted by the proposed project
reach traffic level of service (LOS) D. Similar conditions
have been attached to the Hacienda and Reynolds and Brown
Business Parks, but they limited development if certain
intersections reach level of service E; and
WHEREAS, at the urging of the owners of the subject property,
the City Council initiated a modification to Condition
No. 56 of Ordinance 1014 to change the traffic standard
from LOS C to LOS D so that the subject property would
be on an equal footing with Hacienda and Reynolds and
Brown; and
WHEREAS, this is considered to be a substantial modification to
PUD -81 -22 and, hence is being submitted to the Planning
Commission at public hearing for recommendation to the
City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON
RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING:
Section 1. Recommends that Condition No.56 of Ordinance 1014
be amended to read as shown on Exhibit A, attached hereto
and made part of this case by reference.
