PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2368 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISISON OF <br />THE CITY OF PLEASANTON APPROVING A USE PERMIT <br />FOR STEVEN KROME AS FILED UNDER CASE UP -83 -35 <br />WHEREAS, Steven Krome has applied for a conditional use permit <br />to operate an approximately 1600 sq. ft. veterinary clinic <br />at 3059 Hopyard Road; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is C -C (Central Commercial) District; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of October 12, 1983 <br />the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, <br />relevant documents and recommendations of the City staff; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission found that a) the proposed location <br />of the conditional use is in accord with the objectives <br />of the ordinance code and the purposes of the district <br />in which the site is located; and b) that the proposed <br />location of the conditional use and the conditions under <br />which it would be operated or maintained will not be <br />materially injurious to properties or improvements in <br />the vicinity; and c) that the proposed conditional use <br />will comply with each of the applicable provisions of <br />the ordinance code. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Approves case UP- 83 -35, application of Steven Krome <br />as herein described subject to the following conditions: <br />1. That the use permit is granted for a veterinary clinic <br />with no overnight boarding without supervision, to <br />be located solely in the 1590 sq. ft. known as Suite <br />B, Building 3, of the Hopyard Shopping Center as <br />shown on the attached site plan <br />2. That the hours of operation of the business shall <br />be 8:30am to 5:30pm; two nights per week until 10:OOpm, <br />and emergency hours as necessary. <br />3. That the facility shall be conducted entirely within <br />the completely enclosed building at all times. <br />4. That the holding rooms for the animals shall be of <br />sound proof construction to the standards prescribed <br />by the Building Official. <br />5. That all waste materials shall be contained in sealed <br />plastic at all times and removed by a licensed operator. <br />
