PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 2368 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISISON OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON APPROVING A USE PERMIT FOR STEVEN KROME AS FILED UNDER CASE UP -83 -35 WHEREAS, Steven Krome has applied for a conditional use permit to operate an approximately 1600 sq. ft. veterinary clinic at 3059 Hopyard Road; and WHEREAS, zoning for the property is C -C (Central Commercial) District; and WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of October 12, 1983 the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, relevant documents and recommendations of the City staff; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission found that a) the proposed location of the conditional use is in accord with the objectives of the ordinance code and the purposes of the district in which the site is located; and b) that the proposed location of the conditional use and the conditions under which it would be operated or maintained will not be materially injurious to properties or improvements in the vicinity; and c) that the proposed conditional use will comply with each of the applicable provisions of the ordinance code. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section 1. Approves case UP- 83 -35, application of Steven Krome as herein described subject to the following conditions: 1. That the use permit is granted for a veterinary clinic with no overnight boarding without supervision, to be located solely in the 1590 sq. ft. known as Suite B, Building 3, of the Hopyard Shopping Center as shown on the attached site plan 2. That the hours of operation of the business shall be 8:30am to 5:30pm; two nights per week until 10:OOpm, and emergency hours as necessary. 3. That the facility shall be conducted entirely within the completely enclosed building at all times. 4. That the holding rooms for the animals shall be of sound proof construction to the standards prescribed by the Building Official. 5. That all waste materials shall be contained in sealed plastic at all times and removed by a licensed operator.
