WHEREAS, Prudential Insurance Company of America has applied to <br />rezone approximately twenty -one acres located north and <br />south of West Las Positas Boulevard west of its intersection <br />with Stoneridge Drive from L -I (Light Industrial) to <br />I -P (Industrial Park) District; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of October 12, 1983 <br />the Planning Commission recommended approval of the <br />Negative Declaration prepared for this application after <br />considering all public testimony, relevant exhibits and <br />recommendations of the City Staff; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission found the I -P (Industrial Park) <br />District to be in conformance with the General Plan of <br />the City of Pleasanton. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of the application of Prudential <br />Insurance Company to rezone approximately twenty -one <br />acres located north and south of West Las Positas Boulevard <br />west of its intersection with Stoneridge Drive from L -I <br />(Light Industrial) to I -P (Industrial Park) District. <br />Section 2.
