DATE: October 12, 1983 PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 2364 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE NEGATIVE DECLARATION PREPARED FOR CASE RZ -83 -7, APPLICATION OF PRUDENTIAL INSURANCE COMPANY OF AMERICA WHEREAS, Prudential Insurance Company of America has applied to rezone approximately twenty -one acres located north and south of West Las Positas Boulevard west of its intersection with Stoneridge Drive from L -I (Light Industrial) to I -P (Industrial Park) District; and WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of October 12, 1983 the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, relevant maps and recommendations of the City Staff concerning the proposed rezoning, including the environmental impacts of the proposal; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with state and local guidelines governing the preparation of negative declarations and environmental impact reports; and WHEREAS, the Initial Study prepared by the staff indicated that there would not be any significant impact on the environment should this application be approved. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section 1. Finds that based on the review of the Initial Study, public testimony and documentary evidence presented at the public hearing, there would be no significant adverse impacts upon the environment as a result of approval of the proposed rezoning. Section 2. Recommends approval of the Negative Declaration prepared for case RZ -83 -7 as herein described. Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ON THE 12TH DAY OF OCTOBER 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: AYES: Commissioners Doherty, Getty, Lindsey and Chairman Jamieson NOES: None ABSENT: Commissioner Wilson ABSTAIN: None
