PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION N0. 2360 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION PREPARED FOR PONDEROSA HOMES AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD -83 -19 WHEREAS, Ponderosa Homes has applied for PUD (Planned Unit Development) zoning and development plan approval of a 180 lot residential development project on approximately 38 acres located west and north of the existing terminus of Hansen Drive just east of the I -680 right -of -way; and WHEREAS, zoning for the property is R -1 -6500 (Single family Residential) District; and WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of September 28, 1983 the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, relevant maps and recommendations of the City Staff concerning the proposed rezoning and development plan, including the environmental impacts of the proposal; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with state and local guidelines governing the preparation of negative declarations and environmental impact reports; and WHEREAS, the Initial Study prepared by the City staff indicated that there may be potentially significant adverse impacts on the environment as a result of approval of the proposed project; and WHEREAS,the Planning Commission has determined that conditions imposed upon project approval would reduce any potentially adverse significant effect to an insignicant level. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section 1. Finds that based on the review of the Initial Study, public testimony and documentary evidence presented at the public hearing, there would be no significant adverse impacts upon the environment as a result of the proposed rezoning and development plan approval because of conditions imposed thereon. Section 2. Recommends approval of the Mitigated Negative Declaration prepared for case PUD- 83 -19. Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
