PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 2360 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE <br />MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION PREPARED FOR <br />PONDEROSA HOMES AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD -83 -19 <br />WHEREAS, Ponderosa Homes has applied for PUD (Planned Unit Development) <br />zoning and development plan approval of a 180 lot residential <br />development project on approximately 38 acres located <br />west and north of the existing terminus of Hansen Drive <br />just east of the I -680 right -of -way; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is R -1 -6500 (Single family Residential) <br />District; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of September 28, 1983 <br />the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, <br />relevant maps and recommendations of the City Staff concerning <br />the proposed rezoning and development plan, including <br />the environmental impacts of the proposal; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts <br />in accordance with state and local guidelines governing the <br />preparation of negative declarations and environmental impact <br />reports; and <br />WHEREAS, the Initial Study prepared by the City staff indicated that there <br />may be potentially significant adverse impacts on the <br />environment as a result of approval of the proposed project; and <br />WHEREAS,the Planning Commission has determined that conditions imposed <br />upon project approval would reduce any potentially adverse <br />significant effect to an insignicant level. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Finds that based on the review of the Initial Study, public <br />testimony and documentary evidence presented at the public <br />hearing, there would be no significant adverse impacts upon <br />the environment as a result of the proposed rezoning and <br />development plan approval because of conditions imposed thereon. <br />Section 2. Recommends approval of the Mitigated Negative Declaration <br />prepared for case PUD- 83 -19. <br />Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br />its passage and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ON THE 28TH DAY OF SEPTEMBER 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br />
