PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2358 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON APPROVING A MODIFICATION TO A CNDITIONAL <br />USE PERMIT FOR TOM RICHERT AS FILED UNDER CASE UP -83 -34 <br />WHEREAS, George Hess and Tom Richert have applied for a <br />modification of a conditional use permit allowing for <br />the operation of a garden center at 5505 Sunol Boulevard to <br />allow for an office showroom for a remodeling contractor; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is IP (Industrial Park) District; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of September 28, 1983 <br />the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, <br />relevant plans and recommendations of the City staff; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission felt the modification to be appropriate. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Approves case UP -83 -34 as herein described subject to <br />the following conditions: <br />1. That this approval modifies the existing use permit, <br />UP -76 -28 to allow only a kitchen and bathroom remodeling <br />showroom and office in the existing approximately <br />500 sq. ft. sales office on the subject site. <br />2. That any other modifications to the use of the property <br />be submitted to the City for review and approval under <br />separate application. <br />3. That any additional signing for the site be submitted <br />to the City for review and approval under separate <br />application. <br />4. That the applicant secure any necessary building permits <br />to modify the structure for its intended use. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective 15 days after <br />its passage and adoption or on the day following the next <br />meeting of the Council whichever is later unless appealed. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING COMMMISISON OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ON THE 28TH DAY OF SEPTEMBER 28, 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br />AYES: Commissioners Arrigoni, Getty, Lindsey and Chairman Jamieson <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Commissioners Doherty and Wilson <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />
