PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 2355 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON APPROVING A USE PERMIT FOR THE PLEASANTON JOINT SCHOOL DISTRICT AS FILED UNDER CASE UP -83 -21 WHEREAS, the Pleasanton Joint School District has applied for approval of a conditional use permit to allow the operation of a private nursery schools and other private and public educational facilities, warehousing, maintenance storage and recreation facilities at the Pleasanton School site, 4750 First Street; and WHEREAS, zoning for the property is "P" (Public and Institutional) District; and WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of September 28, 1983 the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits and recommendations of the City staff; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission found that a) the proposed location of the conditional use is in accord with the objectives of the ordinance code and the purposes of the district in which the site is located; b) that the proposed location of the conditional use and the conditions under which it would be operated or maintained will not be detrimental to the public health, safety, or welfare, or materially injurious to the properties or improvements in the vicnity; and c) that the proposed conditional use will comply with each of the applicable provisions of the ordinance code. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section 1. Approves case UP- 83 -21, application of the Pleasanton Joint School District as herein described subject to the following conditions: 1. That the premises be used in substantially the manner shown on the approved plot plan on file with the Planning Division. 2. That prior to additional individual instructional users leasing space on the premises they shall secure administrative approval from the Planning Division. 3. That any signs placed on the property be approved by the City under separate application. 4. That since the District hopes to re -open the School for public instruction at some point in the future, UP -83 -21 shall be considered a temporary use permit to expire five (5) years from the date of approval.
