PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2350 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE NEGATIVE <br />DECLARATION PREPARED FOR CASE GP -83 -7, AS FILED BY <br />LEE AMARAL <br />WHEREAS, Lee Amaral has applied to amend the general plan land <br />use designation from High Density Residential to Commercial <br />and Offices on an approximately 11,400 sq. ft. site at <br />404 St. Mary Street and Peters Avenue); and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is R -1 -6500 (Single family <br />Residential) District; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of September 14, <br />1983, the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, <br />relevant maps and recommendations of the City Staff <br />concerning the proposed general plan amendment including <br />the environmental impacts of the proposal; and <br />WHEREAS, the Initial Study prepared by the City staff indicated <br />that there would not be any significant impact on the <br />environment should this application be approved. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Finds that based on the review of the Initial Study, <br />public testimony and documentary evidence presented at the <br />public hearing, there would be no significant adverse <br />impacts upon the environment as a result of approval <br />of the proposed general plan amendment. <br />Section 2. Recommends approval of the Negative Declaration <br />prepared for case GP -83 -7. <br />Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ON THE 14TH DAY OF SEPTEMBER 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br />AYES: Commissioners Doherty, Getty, Lindsey, Wilson and <br />Chairman Jamieson <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />
