PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2348 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE NEGATIVE <br />DECLARATION PREPARED FOR CASE PUD- 83 -14, APPLICATION <br />OF VINTAGE ASSOCIATES <br />WHEREAS, Vintage Associates has applied for PUD (Planned Unit Development) <br />zoning and development plan approval for a mixed use high density <br />residential /commercial and offices project proposed to consist <br />of 32 dwelling units, approximately 11,000 sq. ft. of commercial <br />and offices area, and related facilities on an approximately 2.2 <br />acre site located at the northeast corner of Bernal Avenue (Pico) <br />and Palomino Drive; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) Commercial <br />and Offices and High Density Residential District; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of August 24, 1983, the Planning <br />Commission considered all public testimony, relevant maps and recommendations <br />of the City Staff concerning the proposed PUD zoning and development <br />plan approval, including the environmental impacts of the proposal; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance <br />with state and local guidelines governing the preparation of negative <br />declarations and environmental impact reports; and <br />WHEREAS, the Initial Study prepared by the City Staff indicated there would not be <br />a significant impact on the environment should this application <br />be approved. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE <br />FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Finds that based on the review of the Initial Study, public testimony <br />and documentary evidence presented at the public hearing, there would <br />be no significant adverse impacts on the environment as a result of <br />approval of the proposed project. <br />Section 2. Recommends approval of the Negative Declaration prepared for case PUD -83 -14 <br />as herein described. <br />Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its <br />passage and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ON THE <br />24th DAY OF AUGUST 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br />AYES Commissioners Doherty, Getty, Lindsey, Wilson and Chairman Jamieson <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />
