PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2345 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE MITIGATED <br />NEGATIVE DECLARATION PREPARED FOR CASE PUD- 80- 15 -1D, <br />THE APPLICATION OF KINDERCARE ET AL <br />WHEREAS, Kinder Care Learning Centers, Inc. and Tracor /MBA have <br />applied for PUD (Planned Unit Development) modification <br />and development plan approval to allow for the construction <br />of an approximately 8,400 sq. ft. daycare facility on approximately <br />.8 acre site located at the southwest corner of the <br />intersection of Brockton Drive and Pimlico Drive (realigned); and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) <br />Commercial District; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of August 24, 1983, the <br />Planning Commisison considered all public testimony, relevant <br />maps and recommendations of the City Staff concerning the <br />proposed PUD modification and development plan including <br />the environmental impacts of the proposal; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts <br />in accordance with state and local guidelines governing <br />the preparation of negative declarations and environmental <br />impact reports; and <br />WHEREAS, the Initial Study prepared by the City staff indicated that <br />there may be a significant impact on the environment should <br />this application be approved. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Sectioon 1. Finds that based on the review of the Initial Study, <br />public testimony and documentary evidence presented at the public <br />hearing, there would be no significant adverse impacts on <br />the environment as a result of approval of the proposed <br />project because of conditions proposed for project approval <br />would reduce any potentially significant adverse effects to <br />an insignificant level. <br />Section 2. Recommends approval of the Mitigated Negative Declaration <br />prepared for case PUD- 80 -15 -1D as herein described. <br />Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ON THE 24TH DAY OF AUGUST 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br />
