PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 2345 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION PREPARED FOR CASE PUD- 80- 15 -1D, THE APPLICATION OF KINDERCARE ET AL WHEREAS, Kinder Care Learning Centers, Inc. and Tracor /MBA have applied for PUD (Planned Unit Development) modification and development plan approval to allow for the construction of an approximately 8,400 sq. ft. daycare facility on approximately .8 acre site located at the southwest corner of the intersection of Brockton Drive and Pimlico Drive (realigned); and WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) Commercial District; and WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of August 24, 1983, the Planning Commisison considered all public testimony, relevant maps and recommendations of the City Staff concerning the proposed PUD modification and development plan including the environmental impacts of the proposal; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with state and local guidelines governing the preparation of negative declarations and environmental impact reports; and WHEREAS, the Initial Study prepared by the City staff indicated that there may be a significant impact on the environment should this application be approved. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Sectioon 1. Finds that based on the review of the Initial Study, public testimony and documentary evidence presented at the public hearing, there would be no significant adverse impacts on the environment as a result of approval of the proposed project because of conditions proposed for project approval would reduce any potentially significant adverse effects to an insignificant level. Section 2. Recommends approval of the Mitigated Negative Declaration prepared for case PUD- 80 -15 -1D as herein described. Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
