PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2337 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE NEGATIVE <br />DECLARATION PREPARED FOR CASE RZ -83 -5, PLEASANTON <br />JOINT SCHOOL DISTRICT <br />WHEREAS, Pleasanton Joint School District has applied to rezone an <br />approximately 17 acre school site (Pleasanton Elementary School) <br />at 4750 First Street from the R -1 -65 (Single family Residential) <br />District to the "P" (Public and Institutional) District; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of July 27, 1983, the <br />Planning Commission considered all public testimony, <br />relevant maps and recommendations of the City Staff concerning the <br />proposed rezoning including the environmental impacts of the <br />proposal; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts <br />in accordance with state and local guidelines governing the <br />preparation of negative declarations and environmental impact <br />reports; and <br />WHEREAS, the Initial Study prepared by the City staff indicated that there <br />would not be any significant impact on the environment should this <br />application be approved. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Finds that based on the review of the Initial Study, public <br />testimony and documentary evidence presented at the public hearing, <br />there would be no significant adverse impacts upon the environment <br />as a result of approval of the proposed rezoning. <br />Section 2. Recommends approval of the Negative Declaration prepared for <br />case RZ -83 -5. <br />Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its <br />passage and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ON THE <br />27TH DAY OF JULY 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br />AYES: Commissioners Doherty, Getty, Lindsey, Wilson and Chairman Jamieson <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />
