PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2335 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON APPROVING REVISED PLANS AS APPROVED BY CITY <br />COUNCIL FOR SHELTER CAPITAL AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD -83 -9 <br />WHEREAS, on July 26, 1983 the City Council approved 200 units as <br />opposed to 232 units recommended by the Planning Commission for the <br />development proposed for the easternmost 11 acres of the 27 acre <br />parcel located south of the Arroyo Mocho and east of Santa Rita <br />Road; and <br />WHEREAS, it is required that the Planning Commission review plans again <br />when a substantial change has been made in the Plans between <br />the time Planning Commission makes a recommendation and the <br />time City Council approves the development; and <br />WHEREAS, at their meeting of July 27, 1983 the Planning Commission reviewed <br />the revised development plan and concurred with the action of <br />the City Council. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Approves the revised development plan, dated July 8, 1983, and <br />modifies the following conditions of Resolution No. 2311: <br />1. That the development be substantially as shown on the <br />development plan, Exhibit A, dated July 8, 1983, on <br />file with the Planning Division. <br />70. That the developer and owner use best efforts to rent the <br />apartment units to citizens over 60 years of age for at least <br />25% of the development. <br />71. That the developer use his best efforts to obtain the right to <br />plant a low maintenance landscaping buffer along the Zone 7 <br />property north of the northern property line. <br />72. That the developer use only those screening trees appropriate for <br />the height of the buildings without obscuring distant views <br />to either the development residences or neighbors to the <br />north. A 30' height limitation should be the guideline. <br />73. That the swimming pool area shall be completely lighted to <br />provide adequate vision of the entire pool area. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage <br />and adoption. <br />
