PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2334 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF <br />REVISED PLANS FOR THE HOLIDAY INN AS FILED <br />UNDER CASE PUD -83 -7 <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of May 25, 1983 <br />the Planning Commission, after considerable <br />deliberation, denied the application of Holiday Inns, Inc. <br />for development plan approval for a 249 room, 7 -story hotel <br />and related facilities proposed for a 4.39 acre site <br />located near the northwest corner of Dublin Canyon <br />Road and Foothill Road; and <br />WHEREAS, Holiday Inn appealed this decision to the City Council; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of July 12, 1983 <br />the City Council introduced an ordinance approving the <br />appeal of Holiday Inns to allow a 249 room Holiday Inn <br />located on a 5.07 acre site at the northwest corner <br />of Dublin Canyon and Foothill Roads; and <br />WHEREAS, this was approved because Holiday Inns revised their <br />architectural concept (June 30, 1983) to reduce the <br />height of the proposed structure from seven to six <br />stories and increased the size of the site; and <br />WHEREAS, this matter was referred back to the Planning Commission <br />at their duly noticed public hearing of July 13, 1983 <br />as required because of the change in plans. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of a six story, 249 room, hotel <br />and related facilities on the 5.07 acre site located <br />near the northwest corner of Dublin Canyon Road and <br />Foothill Road subject to the conditions shown on <br />Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made part of this case <br />by reference. <br />Section 2.
