WHEREAS, Vintage Associates, Ltd. has applied to amend the <br />general plan land use designation on 2.2 acres <br />located at the northeast corner of Pico Avenue <br />and Palomino Drive from "Commercial and Offices" to <br />"Commercial and Offices /High Density Residential;" and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of July 13, 1983 <br />the Planning Commission, after considering all public <br />input, relevant exhibits and recommendations of <br />City Staff recommended approval of the Negative <br />Declaration prepared for case GP -83 -4; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission feels that a mix of commercial and <br />high density residential uses on the subject property <br />would be appropriate for the area. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Recommends approval for a general plan amendment <br />to change the land use designation on approximately <br />2.2 acres located at the northeast corner of <br />Bernal (Pico) Avenue and Palomino Drive from Commercial <br />and Offices to Commercial and Offices and High Density <br />Residential. <br />Section 2.
