PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 2329 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR THE AMADOR VALLEY BAPTIST CHURCH AS FILED UNDER CASE UP -83 -18 WHEREAS, Amador Valley Baptis Church has applied for approval of a conditional use permit to operate an approximately 1800 sq. ft. office and children's nursery facility in an existing structure at 100 Neal Street adjacent to the existing church meeting facility at 118 Neal Street; and WHEREAS, zoning for the property is RM -4 (Multi family Residential) District; and WHEREAS, this application is exempt from the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA); and WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of July 13, 1983 the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, exhibits and recommendations of the City Staff; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission found that the proposed location of the conditional use is in accord with the objectives of the Ordinance Code and the purposes of the district in which the site is located; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission found that the proposed location of the conditional use and conditions under which it would be operated or maintained will not be detrimental to the public health, safety or welfare or be materially injurious to properties or improvements in the vicinity; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission found that the proposed conditional use will comply with each of the applicable provisions of the Ordinance Code. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section 1. Approves case UP- 83 -18, Amador Valley Baptist Church subject to the following conditions: 1. That this use permit is granted for the property known as 100 Neal Street only and shall be used only as a children's nursery during church services and as the office for the Pastor of the Amador Valley Baptist Church. 2. That approval of this case is conditioned upon the approval of case V -83 -11 and any conditions which may be attached thereto by the Board of Adjustment.
