PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2329 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE <br />PERMIT FOR THE AMADOR VALLEY BAPTIST CHURCH AS <br />FILED UNDER CASE UP -83 -18 <br />WHEREAS, Amador Valley Baptis Church has applied for approval <br />of a conditional use permit to operate an <br />approximately 1800 sq. ft. office and children's nursery <br />facility in an existing structure at 100 Neal Street <br />adjacent to the existing church meeting facility at <br />118 Neal Street; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is RM -4 (Multi family Residential) <br />District; and <br />WHEREAS, this application is exempt from the requirements of the <br />California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA); and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of July 13, 1983 <br />the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, <br />exhibits and recommendations of the City Staff; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission found that the proposed location of <br />the conditional use is in accord with the objectives of <br />the Ordinance Code and the purposes of the district in <br />which the site is located; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission found that the proposed location <br />of the conditional use and conditions under which it <br />would be operated or maintained will not be detrimental <br />to the public health, safety or welfare or be materially <br />injurious to properties or improvements in the vicinity; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission found that the proposed conditional <br />use will comply with each of the applicable provisions <br />of the Ordinance Code. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Approves case UP- 83 -18, Amador Valley Baptist Church <br />subject to the following conditions: <br />1. That this use permit is granted for the property <br />known as 100 Neal Street only and shall be used only <br />as a children's nursery during church services and as <br />the office for the Pastor of the Amador Valley <br />Baptist Church. <br />2. That approval of this case is conditioned upon the <br />approval of case V -83 -11 and any conditions which may <br />be attached thereto by the Board of Adjustment. <br />
