CITY COUNCIL CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1408 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF DESILVA GROUP <br /> AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-89-5 <br /> <br />W~EREAS, DeSilva Group has applied for development plan approval <br /> to construct a 251 unit single-family residential <br /> project and related improvements to be located on an <br /> approximately 136 acre site located at the northeast <br /> corner of the intersection of Bernal Avenue and Foothill <br /> Road; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit <br /> Development) - Low Residential District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an EIR was prepared for the Stoneridge Meadows Specific <br /> Plan, which preceded the Laguna Oaks Specific Plan and <br /> PUD submittal. The EIR was approved and certified by <br /> the City Council in June 1988. The EIR incorporates <br /> most of the recommended mitigation measures and <br /> adequately addresses the impacts associated with the <br /> proposed development plan, and therefore suffices for <br /> this proposal; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's <br /> recommendation for approval of the proposed development <br /> plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on March 21, <br /> 1989; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that this development plan is <br /> consistent with the General Plan policies and PUD <br /> Ordinance of the City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASA/qTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Approves Case PUD-89-5, the development plan to <br /> construct a 251-unit single-family residential project <br /> and related improvements to be located on an <br /> approximately 136 acre site located at the northeast <br /> corner of the intersection of Bernal Avenue and Foothill <br /> Road subject to the conditions shown on Exhibit "A" <br /> attached hereto and made part of this case by <br /> reference. <br /> <br /> <br />
