PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2321 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF <br />THE CITY OF PLEASANTON APPROVING A HOME <br />OCCUPATION PERMIT FOR ARNOLD KRUSE AS FILED <br />UNDER CASE Z -83 -111 <br />WHEREAS, Arnold Kruse has applied for zoning certificate <br />approval to allow a home occupation involving periodically <br />keeping a vehicle in excess of one ton (a truck <br />tractor) incidental to a long hauling business at <br />4363 Second Street; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the propery is R -1 -6500 (Single family <br />Residential) District; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of June 22, 1983 <br />the Planning Commission considered all public input, <br />relevant documents and recommendations of the City staff; and <br />WHEREAS, the applicant has been parking his tractor on the <br />property for the last ten years; and <br />WHEREAS, to the City Staff's knowledge no one has complained <br />of this activity; and <br />WHEREAS, Section 2- 10.17j of Article 20 (Home Occupations) <br />states that no vehicle exceeding one ton in size <br />shall be used in conjunction with a home occupation; and <br />WHEREAS, the applicant's tractor is larger than allowed; and <br />WHEREAS, Article 20 allows the Planning Commission to grant <br />modifications to these standards. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Approves case Z -83 -111, the application of Arnold <br />Kruse allowing a home occupation involving periodically <br />keeping a vehicle in excess of one ton (a truck and <br />tractor) incidental to a long hauling business at <br />4363 Second Street subject to the conditions shown <br />on Exhibit "A attached hereto and made part of this <br />case by reference. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective 15 days <br />following June 22, 1983 or on the day following the <br />next meeting of the Council, whichever is later, <br />unless an appeal has been taken to the Council, or <br />unless the Council shall elect to review the decision <br />of the Commission. <br />
