PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NG. 2314 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE <br />PERMIT FOR FRANK AUF DER MAUR AS FILED UNDER <br />CASE UP -83 -14 <br />WHEREAS, Frank Auf der Maur has applied for a conditional use permit to allow <br />the operation of a contractor's office and storage yard utilizing an <br />existing structure at 3610 Old Santa Rita Road; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is C -S (Commercial Service) District; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of June 8, 1983 the Planning <br />Commission considered all public input, City staff recommendation <br />and related documents concerning this proposal; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission found that the proposed location of the <br />conditional use is in accord with the objectives of the zoning <br />ordinance and the purposes of the district in which the site is <br />located; and <br />WHEREAS, that the proposed location of the conditonal use and the conditions <br />under which it would be operated or maintained will not be detrimental <br />to the public health, safety or welfare or be materially injurious <br />to properties or improvements located in the vicinity; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission found that the proposed conditional use would <br />comply with each of the applicable provisions of the zoning <br />ordinance. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Approves the application of Frank Auf der Maur for a conditional <br />use permit as described herein subject to the following conditions: <br />1. That the development be substantially as shown on the site plan, <br />Exhbiti A, on file with the Planning Division. <br />2. That wooden slats shall be placed in the chain link fence between <br />the office and the northern boundary of the site in order to screen <br />the storage yard from Old Santa Rita Road. <br />3. That this permit is granted to allow use only of the approximately <br />7,000 sq. ft. site known as 3610 Old Santa Rita Road as a storage <br />yard for commercial goods, supplies and equipment. <br />4. That case UP -83 -14 is granted for a period of three (3) years at <br />which time it will be necessary for the applicant to apply for a new <br />use permit if he wishes to continue the use. <br />
