PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2310 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE <br />NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR CASE PUD -83 -9 <br />WHEREAS, Barnett Range /Shelter Capital and Sid Corrie have applied for PUD <br />(Planned Unit Development) -High Density Residential zoning and <br />development plan approval of a 240 unit garden apartment project <br />on an approximately 11 acre site located immediately south of the <br />Arroyo Mocho, approximately 1500 feet east of the intersection of <br />Santa Rita Road and the Arroyo Mocho Canal; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is "A" (Agricultural) District; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of June 8, 1983 the Planning <br />Commission considered all public testimony, relevant maps and <br />recommendations of the City staff concerning the proposed development <br />plan including the environmental impacts of the proposal; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in <br />accordance with state and local guidelines governing the preparation <br />of negative declarations and environmental impact reports; and <br />WHEREAS, the Initial Study prepared by the City staff indicated that there <br />would not be an significant impact on the environment as a result <br />of project approval. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE <br />FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Finds that, based on the review of the Initial Study, public <br />testimony and documentary evidence presented at the public hearing, <br />there would be no significant adverse impacts upon the environment as <br />a result of project approval. <br />Section 2. Recommends approval of the Negative Declaration prepared for <br />case PUD -83 -9 as described herein. <br />Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage <br />and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ON THE <br />8th DAY OF JUNE 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br />AYES: Commissioners Doherty, Getty, Lindsey, Wilson and Chairman Jamieson <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />DATE: June 8, 1983 <br />
