WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTIO "_I NO. 2304 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON APPROVING TEE MITIGATED <br />NEGATIVE DECLARATION PREPARED FOR CASE PUD -83 -7, <br />HOLIDAY INN <br />Holiday Inns, Inc. and First Nationwide Savings <br />and Loan have applied for PUD (Planned Unit Develop- <br />ment) development plan approval of a 249 room, seven <br />story hotel structure and related facilities on a <br />4.39 acre site located near the northwest corner <br />of Dublin Canyon and Foothill Roads; and <br />zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development) Central Commercial District; and <br />at their duly noticed public hearing of May 25, 1983, <br />the Planning Commission considered all public <br />testimony, relevant maps and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning the proposed development plan <br />including the environmental impacts of the proposal; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential <br />impacts in accordance with state and local guidelines <br />governing the preparation of negative declarations <br />and environmental impact reports; and <br />WHEREAS, the Initial Study prepared by the City staff indicated <br />that there might be a significant impact on the <br />environment concerning utilities, aesthetic impacts, <br />noise, public services, transportation and geologic <br />impacts, but that conditions included in the project <br />approval would reduce any potentially significant <br />adverse environmental effects to an insignificant level. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1: Finds that, based on the review of the Initial Study, <br />public testimony and documentary evidence presented <br />at the public hearing, there would be no significant <br />adverse impacts upon the environment as a result of <br />project approval because of conditions proposed <br />thereon and agreed upon by the apnlicant should the <br />project be approved. <br />
