<br />MINUTES <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />May 5, 2009 <br /> <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Hosterman called the regular meeting to order at the hour of 7:00 p.m. Councilmember <br />McGovern led in the Pledge of Allegiance and provided the introductory remarks. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> <br />Present: Councilmembers Cook-Kallio, McGovern, Sullivan, Thorne, Mayor Hosterman <br />Absent: None <br /> <br />REPORT OF CLOSED SESSION <br /> <br />City Attorney Roush said the Council had previously met in Closed Session and there was no <br />reportable action taken. <br /> <br />AGENDA AMENDMENTS : <br /> None <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br />Administrative Services <br /> <br />1. Approved special meeting minutes of April 6, 2009 and regular meeting minutes of April 7, <br />2009 <br /> <br />Councilmember Thorne referred to the meeting minutes of April 7, 2009, Council Reports, second <br />paragraph, and requested “California League of Cities” be amended to read, “National League of <br />Cities.” <br /> <br />Community Development <br /> <br />2. Accepted actions of the Zoning Administrator and Planning Commission <br /> <br />Ordinance No 1991 <br />3. Introduced and waived first reading of amending Section 11.36.210 of <br />the Pleasanton Municipal Code creating a three hour limited time parking zone <br /> <br />Resolution No. 09-281 <br />4. Adopted authorizing an application to the Metropolitan Transportation <br />Commission for allocation of Transportation Development Act (TDA) Article 3 funds for bicycle <br />detection equipment at selected signalized intersections and installation of bicycle racks at <br />City facilities <br /> <br />5. Approved and authorized the City Manager to execute deeds granting easements to the <br />Alameda County Flood Control and Water Conservation District Zone 7 for a flood control <br />outfall structure on Bernal Creek at the Arroyo de la Laguna (Bernal Property) and access to <br />this structure <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
