CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1439 <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF <br /> PRUDENTIAL INSURANCE COMPANY OF AMERICA FOR A <br /> MAJOR PUD MODIFICATION AND DESIGN REVIEW <br /> APPROVAL OF A FIVE-STORY, 225,000 SQ. FT. <br /> OFFICE BUILDING AS FILED UNDER CASE <br /> PUD-81-30-48D-22M <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Prudential Insurance Company of America has applied for <br /> a major modification to redesignate to OMPD and to <br /> construct a five-story, 225,000 sq. ft. office building <br /> located in the area generally bounded by Baker Drive <br /> Gibraltar Drive, and Hacienda Drive; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit <br /> Development) - Industrial, Commercial and Offices <br /> District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study, a negative <br /> declaration was adopted by Council on <br /> November 7, 1989; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's <br /> recommendations for approval of the <br /> proposed major modification and design review <br /> applications; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed PUD <br /> modification and development plan are consistent with <br /> the General Plan and the purposes of the PUD ordinance. <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br /> FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: Approves a major modification to the Hacienda Business <br /> Park Land Use Plan changing Site 7D and a portion of <br /> Site 55C of Hacienda Business Park from the OGPD, Garden <br /> Office Designation to the OMPD, Midrise Office <br /> designation with development criteria as stated in <br /> Condition No. 1. <br /> <br /> Section 2. Approves the application for design review approval <br /> to construct a five-story, 225,000 sq. ft. office <br /> building located in the area generally bounded by Baker <br /> Drive, Gibraltar Drive, and Hacienda Drive subject to <br /> the conditions shown on Exhibit "B" attached hereto and <br /> made part of this case by reference. <br /> <br /> <br />
