CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA ORDINANCE NO. 1438 ORDINANCE APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON TO PREZONE AN APPROXIMATELY 246 ACRE SITE LOCATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF STANLEY BOULEVARD APPROXIMATELY 2200' WEST OF THE INTERSECTION OF STANT~Y BOULEVARD AND VAT~Y AVENUE TO THE "P" (PUBLIC AND INSTITUTIONAL) DISTRICT WHEREAS, at its meeting of September 19, 1989, the City Council initiated prezoning of the Shadow Cliffs property totalling approximately 246 acres located on the south side of Stanley Boulevard approximately 2200' west of the intersection of Stanley Boulevard as shown on Exhibit "A"; and WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study, a negative declaration was adopted by Council on November 7, 1989 after considering all public testimony, relevant exhibits and recommendations of the City staff; and WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's recommendations for the proposed prezoning; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed zoning district is in conformance with the General Plan. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the application of the City of Pleasanton (Case RZ-89-11) to prezone an approximately 246 acre site (Shadow Cliffs Regional Park) located on the south side of Stanley Boulevard approximately 2200' west of the intersection of Stanley Boulevard as shown on Exhibit "A" to the "P" (Public and Institutional) District; and Section 2. The Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton dated April 18, 1960, on file with the City Clerk, designating and dividing the City into zoning districts is hereby amended by Zoning Unit Map #378, attached hereto as Exhibit "B" dated November 7, 1989, and incorporated herein by reference.
