CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1438 <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF THE CITY <br /> OF PLEASANTON TO PREZONE AN APPROXIMATELY 246 <br /> ACRE SITE LOCATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF STANLEY <br /> BOULEVARD APPROXIMATELY 2200' WEST OF THE <br /> INTERSECTION OF STANT~Y BOULEVARD AND VAT~Y <br /> AVENUE TO THE "P" (PUBLIC AND INSTITUTIONAL) <br /> DISTRICT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of September 19, 1989, the City Council <br /> initiated prezoning of the Shadow Cliffs property <br /> totalling approximately 246 acres located on the south <br /> side of Stanley Boulevard approximately 2200' west of <br /> the intersection of Stanley Boulevard as shown on <br /> Exhibit "A"; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study, a negative <br /> declaration was adopted by Council on <br /> November 7, 1989 after considering all public testimony, <br /> relevant exhibits and recommendations of the City staff; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's <br /> recommendations for the proposed prezoning; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed zoning <br /> district is in conformance with the General Plan. <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br /> FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: Approves the application of the City of Pleasanton <br /> (Case RZ-89-11) to prezone an approximately 246 acre <br /> site (Shadow Cliffs Regional Park) located on the south <br /> side of Stanley Boulevard approximately 2200' west of <br /> the intersection of Stanley Boulevard as shown on <br /> Exhibit "A" to the "P" (Public and Institutional) <br /> District; and <br /> Section 2. The Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton dated <br /> April 18, 1960, on file with the City Clerk, designating <br /> and dividing the City into zoning districts is hereby <br /> amended by Zoning Unit Map #378, attached hereto as <br /> Exhibit "B" dated November 7, 1989, and incorporated <br /> herein by reference. <br /> <br /> <br />
