CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA ORDINANCE NO. 1437 ORDINANCE APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON TO PREZONE AN APPROXIMATELY 351.6 ACRE SITE LOCATED SOUTHWEST OF CASTLEWOOD COUNTRY CLUB AND GENERALLY WEST OF FOOTHILL ROAD TO THE PUD (PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT) - LOW DENSITY/RURAL DENSITY RESIDENTIAL, "A" (AGRICULTURAL) DISTRICT AND THE "P" (PUBLIC AND INSTITUTIONAL DISTRICT WHEREAS, at its meeting of September 5, 1989, the City Council initiated prezoning of an approximately 351.6 acre site located southwest of Castlewood Country Club and generally west of Foothill Road to the PUD (Planned Unit Development) - Low Density/Rural Density Residential, "A" (Agricultural) District and "P" (Public and Institutional) Districts; and WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study, a negative declaration was adopted by Council on November 7, 1989 after considering all public testimony, relevant exhibits and recommendations of the City staff; and WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's recommendations for the proposed prezonings; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed zoning districts are in conformance with the General Plan. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the application of the City of Pleasanton (Case RZ-89-10) to prezone an approximately 351.6 acre site located southwest of Castlewood Country Club and generally west of Foothill Road (Shown on Exhibit "A") as follows: 1. The 250 acre EBRPD property to the "P" (Public and Institutional) District; 2. The 91 acre Currin Property west of Foothill Road to the PUD (Planned Unit Development) Rural and Low Density Residential District; and
