CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1445 <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF THE CITY <br /> OF PT~ASANTON FOR A MAJOR MODIFICATIONAS <br /> DESCRIBED UNDER CASE PUD-85-21-5M <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its public hearing of October 11, 1989, the Planning <br /> Commission approved an extension to Tract 5699, the <br /> approved tentative map to subdivide the Connolly <br /> property located at 306 Neal Street; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at that public hearing, adjacent neighbors expressed <br /> concern with the houses which have already been built on <br /> the site and with future construction on the remaining <br /> two lots; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, as a result of neighbors' concerns, the City of <br /> Pleasanton applied for a major modification to amend the <br /> development standards of the approved single-family <br /> residential planned unit development (PUD-85-21) located <br /> at 306 Neal Street; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's <br /> recommendation for approval of the major modification; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on December 12, <br /> 1989; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that this proposed major <br /> modification is appropriate due to the sensitivity of <br /> the issues concerning the two lots. In addition to <br /> ensuring compliance with the modified site development <br /> standards, the design review process will allow close <br /> scrutiny of such details as house color, materials, and <br /> window placement. <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Approves the application of the City of Pleasanton <br /> for a major modification to amend the development <br /> standards of an approved single-family residential <br /> planned unit development located at 306 Neal Street, <br /> subject to the conditions shown on Exhibit "A" attached <br /> hereto and made part of this case by reference. <br /> <br /> <br />
