<br /> SECTIONS 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 AND 8 OF ORDINANCE
<br /> 1169, AS AMENDED, AND AMENDING SECTIONS 20.04.010,
<br /> 20.08.010, 20.08,070, 20.12,010, 20.16.010,
<br /> 20.20,010, 20.24.010, 20.24.030, 20.28.010 AND
<br /> 20.32.010 OF THE Pr~ASANTONMUNICIPAL CODE, BY
<br /> ADOPTING BY REFERENCE THE 1988 UNIFORM
<br /> ADMINISTRATIVE, BUILDING, PIEMBING, MECHANICAL,
<br /> FIRE, AND HOUSING CODES, AND THE 1987 EleCTRICAL
<br /> CODE AND ADDING TO THE PT~ASANTONMUNICIPAL CODE A
<br /> NEW CHAPTER 20.34, ADOPTING BY REFERENCE THE
<br /> UNIFORM SIGN CODE, 1988 EDITION.

<br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN
<br />AS FOLLOWS:
<br />
<br />Section 1: Section 2 (part) of Ordinance 1169, as amended,
<br /> and Section 20.04.010 of the Pleasanton Municipal
<br /> Code are hereby amended to read as follows:
<br />
<br /> "20.04,010 Uniform Administrative Code adopted.
<br />
<br /> A. There is adopted by reference that certain
<br /> Code known as the Uniform Administrative Code,
<br /> as more particularly described in this
<br /> section, except such portions as are amended,
<br /> modified or deleted in this Chapter, and the
<br /> same is adopted and incorporated as fully as
<br /> if set out at length in this Chapter.
<br />
<br /> B. The Code is the Uniform Administrative Code,
<br /> 1988 Edition, prepared by the International
<br /> Conference of Building Officials, three copies
<br /> of which are on file with the city clerk for
<br /> use by the public."
<br />
<br />Section 2: Section 1 (part) of Ordinance 1169, as amended,
<br /> and Sections 20.08,010 and 20.08,070 of the
<br /> Pleasanton Municipal Code are hereby amended to
<br /> read as follows:
<br />
<br /> "20.08,010 Uniform Buildinq Code adopted.
<br />
<br /> A. There is adopted by reference that certain
<br /> Code known as the Uniform Building Code and
<br /> the Uniform Building Code Standards, more
<br /> particularly described in this section, except
<br /> such portions as are amended, modified or
<br />
